Little Marsden ‘Fun Days’

We have been delighted to be invited into the parish of Little Marsden in Nelson, Lancashire, throughout the year, working in care homes and the primary school, leading to three family ‘fun days’ in March, August and October. Throughout these sessions groups of all ages have written songs about the old local dancehalls, trips to Blackpool and the changeable weather. These sessions have been very creative with lots of arts & crafts activities including participants building and decorating their own cardboard train. A CD of the songs will be recorded and given to the care homes to learn & sing until we next return to the parish.
