Safer Together in Cheshire

We had a fantastic day in March at Safety Central in Lymmf or the start of our project ‘Safer Together’ in collaboration with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Four school classes joined us, along with adult groups, who were paired together to investigate different dangers that they face in their day to day lives, including home safety, rural safety and water safety. Both ages provided an inter-generational perspective on the problems, encouraging both to think about how they can help each other in ways that they may not have realised before.

The day will inspire the plot and lyrics to our musical, which will be created in workshops throughout April and May, and will be performed at the Brindley Theatre in early June.
