City of Songs: project update

To finish the autumn term of our teacher training project with four Manchester primary schools, each class involved performed a song they’ve recently been composing.

Here’s what the y4 class from Claremont Primary School and their teacher wrote. Based on a book they’ve been reading in class, the pupils created all the lyrics and rhythms. With mentoring from Manchester Camerata, their teacher then led the song writing activities in class and supported the pupils to compose this really memorable song. Well done to all the schools involved for your hard work and creativity this term!
