Bootle schools get the Camerata treatment

From March – June 2017, Camerata musicians worked alongside composer Andy Smith to create new pieces of music with pupils from four Bootle schools, in partnership with Sefton Music Service. The young people explored what the local area meant to them, as well as its history, and created both vocal and instrumental pieces which were performed as a massed ensemble at Hillside High School.
