    At Home with Manchester Camerata in Yorkshire

    As an extension of the work we have been delivering with the community in Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, we are now delivering regular sessions in four care homes in Withernsea, leading up to a concert at the Meridian Centre on March 8th 2018. ‘At Home with Manchester Camerata’ will be an afternoon concert of classics, plus a new piece written by and with care homes residents, and performed by a Camerata ensemble and members of local choirs....   • Tameside Public Health

    Groups from a selection of Tameside organisations and care homes have been working with us on a training programme, to enable group leaders to lead their own music, drama and arts sessions with their residents and service users. Groups including Age UK, Stroke Association and Auden House Residential Home will be bringing what they’ve achieved so far to a Christmas celebration event at Hurst Community Centre in Ashton on 21st December.   • Writing with Camerata

    Little Marsden ‘Fun Days’

    We have been delighted to be invited into the parish of Little Marsden in Nelson, Lancashire, throughout the year, working in care homes and the primary school, leading to three family ‘fun days’ in March, August and October. Throughout these sessions groups of all ages have written songs about the old local dancehalls, trips to Blackpool and the changeable weather. These sessions have been very creative with lots of arts & crafts activities including participants building and decorating their own cardboard train.
